Tag for a contact

Adding a tag to a contact for marketing purposes. Adding a tag can only be completed by opening the contact. Is it possible to add this field to the Personal details section so it can be added easily. The TAG is used for the contact for future marketing prospects. It is not a tag on the deal - it is a tag on the client/contact
