In Finance Vault, the overall layout seems disorganised and confusing and not customer friendly. Make colours less washed out, more contrasting to see icons, and text clearer. The client’s focus is to view or upload documents for applications. These two tasks don't have to be the same layout, but should be consistent in operation? Viewing documents should be big, cover images to preview the document, as it’s better than “words” as a link. Uploading documents, should result in a thumbnail image for clarity, and a more visual confirmation that it worked (with correct document). The left list of items/buttons needs a uniform process to show progress. Green = done, Orange = to-be-done. You know when they open a document, or upload a file… so don’t you know when they have completed their items? Notifications are sent on the smallest change, so how about automatically notify the broker team all items are done – without the customer being told to click “I’m done”?? See attached example
